Grandma Tell Me Your Memories

Helen wrote, " I, Helen Chatwin, was born on Friday, 2 A.M. October 6th, 1916. I was born in Mammoth, Utah, in my parents' pretty bedroom. Doctor Steele Bailey delivered me. Of course my father, the Dr. and the nurse were there. My mother and father were so happy with this 8 lb. baby girl, they awakened my seven year old sister to share in their joy. She puckered up and cried and said, "All I ever wanted was a big teddy bear with eyes that "lit" up!"
